IF YOU’RE FEELING CREATIVE:
The Crafty Project
Located on Madison’s east side, The Crafty Project focuses on providing unique experiences and pieces of art. The studio specializes in reclaimed wood projects, and also offers classes/parties for participants to create their own personalized signs (seriously, how cute are those!?), wedding favors and centerpieces.
Groups can join an existing class or book a private party at the Artful Escapes studio in Fitchburg. Enjoy wine or local beer as professional artists guide you through a sequence of brush strokes to create a masterpiece.
Craft workshops to ignite your crafty side. Each Craftshop session is approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours long and attendees create three projects. Class locations vary so be sure to check the website for more information.
Fired Up Pottery
Offering pottery painting, glass fusing, and canvas painting on a walk-in basis – but all events and classes can also be booked online.
This Willy Street studio allows groups to take a guided class or share the creative space to inspire an original piece. Painters are invited to eat and drink while they channel their inner artist.
ReKindled joins the old with the new to make beautiful home decor, party ideas, food and much more. Check out their website for event and class information.
Toss the confetti and celebrate at this modern event space just off the Capitol Square. Revel’s Insta-worthy walls are the perfect backdrop for hosting a private DIY workshop (think gold leaf paintings, etched wine glasses, or chic cement coasters) or enjoying the drop-in Craft Bar. Add cocktails from the bar and sweet treats and you have the makings of a perfect party!
Stop in, pick out a piece of pottery, design, paint… then come back a week later to pick it up. The staff at Studio You does the rest!
